Some particular circumstances forced a change of plans at TKO 49. Serge Dancos and Taha Bendaoud will now fight on the October 9 card after loosing their initial opponents.
The promotion announced the fight today on Facebook:
Taha Bendaoud was supposed to fight Dorian Angerbauer on the TKO 49 card. Sadly, the Ontarian was not able to submit his medicals in due time and was pulled from the fight.
Serge Dancos also lost his opponent as Jean-Luc Harrison was not cleared to compete by the doctor. He also had to be pulled from the contest.
TKO then decided to match the two Bantamweights up for an explosive contest. Dancos impressed the Gatineau crowd in his pro debut back in May. Bendaoud will be making his pro debut as one of the best amateur fighters in Quebec for a long time.
The TKO 49 card will take place on October 9, 2019 at the Olympia in Montreal. The main event of the evening opposes Malcolm Gordon to Takahsi Matsuba for the Flyweight championship. Fights between Yohan Lainesse and Dany Mallette and Louis Jourdain vs Jesse Arnett are also planned for this event.
